Why do I always feel that a lot (“healthy”) after eating something sweet and feel sluggish after eating one?
question skittlesss : Why do I always feel very (“healthy”) after eating something sweet and feel sluggish after eating one
I am a healthy human being: my weight is where it should be, I exercise and I eat really healthy, although I feel stick, if I eat vegetables and fruits! and when I eat candy, I feel much the entire response best.

because the “pleasure” foods contain chemicals that stimulate the brain and make you feel happy

Maybe its portions? If you are only eating small portions of the sweets maybe your body is processing that sugar into energy for you (the way sugar SHOULD work), while if you are eating large portions of fruits and vegetables, maybe that is just to much for your body to process and digest at one meal? Just a thought.
“I eat really healthy” and “I eat sweets” don’t really go in the same sentence.
Never mind, if your weight’s fine and you’re well and you exercise
it could be that your not getting enough energy from your food. when you eat sugar it gives you an energy boost, thats because sugar is our main source of energy. try getting more B vitamins in your diet. B vitamins help process food into energy without relying so heavily on sugar. try taking some daily vitamin pills, they actually help quite a bit. another thing that could be is that your addicted to sugar. i highly doubt this though because of your healthy diet. if a person eats too much sugar, the body becomes reliant on it.
